When Saint John “Sinjun” Livingston moves from California to small town New Mexico, he knows he’s leaving behind a ton of baggage. There’s no room for shame, fear, a stalker ex, or his failed marriage in his vintage Caddy, and he’s starting as new life as the owner of the Rainbow Spa and Lodge. The lodge is like a bandage for all his hurts, and he knows it will be a place to find peace. He can’t wait. What Sinjun doesn’t expect from Truth or Consequences is a meeting a beautiful Texas cowboy on the side of the road, and immediately wanting to get to know him better.

Rhys Davis knows he wants to see Sinjun again as soon as they meet. There’s something about the free-spirited man with the weird name that calls to him. Good thing he’s as good a handyman as he is a rancher. He offers to help fix up Sinjun’s lodge and spa and take the place from the 1970s to the modern age, all the while falling for the sweetest man he’s ever known. The spa seems to live up to it’s reputation as a healing space, but between Sinjun’s past coming back to haunt him and Rhys’s family butting in, the two men have to find a way to come together over their problems instead of letting life rip them apart.

When Sinjun tied the knot, he was young, scared and alone. Where he was expecting fireworks and romance, he got absolutely hell on earth with a possessive, controlling psychotic monster instead of an attentive lover.

In a bid to escape from his abusive, stalker ex, Hal, he packs his bags and moves to Southern New Mexico.

Here as the owner of the Rainbow Spa and Lodge he is able to start afresh and give himself another shot at happiness.

When Rhys Davis meets Sinjun for the first time, he is instantly enamored with the beautiful surfer come to life, his soulful bright blue eyes and his carefree smile. He can't help but be drawn to the free spirited man with lean muscles and gorgeous tanned skin.

Fixing Sinjun’s lodge gives him a chance to get closer to the intriguing man and get to know him better.

Will Sinjun get another chance at happiness with Rhys or will his past come back to destroy the little happiness he he has found?

This was so beautifully written!

What Sinjun had to go through with his ex was heartbreaking, but that only made him fight for a better life and made him stronger.

Rhys was so sweet, caring and understanding, he was a breath of fresh air that Sinjun needed in his life.

The scenes where Hal physically and verbally abuses Sinjun were so heartwrenching and made me a bit emotional.

This was such a beautiful journey of a man claiming his life back despite the emotional wreckage that he has gone through and coming out braver and stronger than before!

I always like my MC'S to be put through the wringer before getting their HEA, and this one definitely didn't disappoint!
