REVIEW

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What comes together under the last full moon of the year is no ones to break apart

Jaxon Redwood was the alpha of the Redwood pack. That is until his home was taken away from him and he was overthrown by the Alpha of the Sterling pack.

When he hears from his beta and bestfriend, Harlan that the Alpha is about to get a new mate to cement his power base in the pack, he is enraged. Jax can't take the chance of Sterling mating with two Omegas and overthrowing the power balance in the pack. He needs to take back what is his and claim his rightful place in his pack once more.

There is just one option left, kidnap the Omega and find out everything he knows.

Family. To always know where it is, and to always come back to it

Reed was just a means to an end to this family. He didn’t possess much and meant little to them. The only person who truly loved him was his sister, Raya and now he will be forced to leave her behind as well.

Being an omega was rare, which meant he was the Golden ticket to a better life for his family.

He knows the Sterling pack is powerful and rich, but since he has always lived a sheltered life, he doesn't know what to expect.

But the cold, ruthless Alpha of the Sterling pack was not what Reed hoped for.

Love. To always share it freely for it comes back to you tenfold.

Jax was supposed to kidnap the Omega and find out what he knew of Sterling's plans. He was never supposed to be attracted to the adorable omega or find his sweet scent intoxicating and most of all his wolf was never supposed to want to protect him and keep him safe.

Bravery. To always hold it close, for you never know when you’ll need it

Mistreated by an Alpha who was supposed to worship him, Reed just wants somewhere to belong.

The new Alpha who kidnapped him, scares him and infuriates him to no end but he can’t help but feel safe in his presence, feel that he has finally come home.

Honesty. To always treasure it, for the secrets can hold you hostage.

Will Jaxon and Reed get the happiness they deserve or will enemies circling destroy what they have found first?

Happiness. To always have it, for you’ve gone too long without

I absolutely loved the dynamics between Reed and Jax.

They are such a great match for each other. Jax with his feral protective instincts to keep Reed safe and Reed though fragile and sheltered is so fierce in his own way and can definitely hold his own.

Tegan and Harlan were my favorite secondary couple!

I loved the unique world building and the setting of this story. What appealed to me most was that the story was written in a dual POV and we got to actually get into the minds of both our characters. This made the emotions and their feelings all the more real for me.

Freedom. To always be yours, for it was taken from you too early

If you like a sweet shifter, opposites attract, enemies to lovers  romance with an adorable omega and protective alpha served with medium angst, I absolutely recommend this!
